QR codes on packaging – Do you know how to use them?

You have probably noticed them before, many of you have already managed to try them thanks to your smartphone. QR codes, or Quick Response codes, are more advanced than the so-called EAN bar codes. They can encode textual information, most often an Internet link. Scanning them will save you effort with copying links or printing supplementary materials. Have you tried scanning the codes that appear on our packaging?

QR codes originate from the Japanese automotive industry, from where they gradually spread throughout the world. Today, thanks to them, you can open any links, send a bank payment or connect to a Wi-Fi network without entering a password.

All you need is to point the camera of your smartphone at the code. Older phones usually needed a special application to scan the codes, however, iOS or Android phones made after 2017 no longer have a problem scanning the code directly with the camera.
